Gold Awards are given for work that exhibits technical achievement, originality, uniqueness of vision, and overall excellence in areas such as composition, color and design, anatomy, storytelling, etc. Gold Awards are given for all categories, and not just highly rendered works, but speed painting, quick sketches, modeling studies, and more.
