Inked with a brush and colored in photoshop cs3.

This is the back cover image for Kalakai's new album. It's nowhere near finished, but it's getting there! I'm so angsty when it comes to colors though, I never know what I'm doing. I just kind of make it up as I go along. 

I should also note that the image is supposed to be dark because there will be white text over it... hahaaa...

    I hear ya about color. I think you hit the right mood with the color choices. The clouds are subtle, They don't take over the piece. The fly logo bit it a little hard to read...but it looks cool. Great stuff kiddo.
