Artist's Comments

This is an re-rendered and updated version of the piece I did last year. I spent some time learning Maya Fluids to help get a more realistic feeling of fire, re-work the comp of the image, fix the lighting, specular and aliasing issues.. I also ended up simulating 60 frames of fire animation to help pick a still for the fire. You can see that video here: http://vimeo.com/23195271
