I'm fascinated with reflections, so this was me playing with that notion, as well as narrative.

This is a good piece, but I have one small  observation.   The reflection seems to have been studied in modern double paned glass leaving the double reflection. Single pained glass only has a single reflection. If the setting is the old west, then it would be single paned glass, however if the setting is some futuristic old west, then I'll just sit here quietly and shut the hell up :)

By no means would I ever want you to "shut the hell up", but you did hit the nail on the head with the sci-fi/Western setting ;)

if the girl is inside, isn't it more logical to have the saloon inscription reversed so that it can be read from the outside?

    Whatever, nice piece

      Don't worry, she's outside, just lit by a porch-light... or something. :)

I was going to say the same thing. She looks like she's inside, not outside. It makes more sense if she has been woken from her sleep and came downstairs to look at the sorry sods looking for trouble through the window. Why would she go outside and then turn around to look in the window reflection at the dudes? I think it'd be better if saloon were mirrored.

Ack, man, how impressive is that. You totally nailed it....the light and modeling, the slightly unsharp reflection which leaves one guessing, with the letters and shadows bleeding in so much that my imagination completes her silhouette....the strong blue on the reflected environment and those totally characteristic poses of the guys in the background. You can see how they are literally leeching for trouble....and how she will give them exactly that.

So vivid...gorgeous work! Absolutely gorgeous work!
