Everybody's got their own favorite version of Supes. personally I lean toward the Neal Adams version, a bit more lean, still muscular, but not bulky. I lean away from the Alex Ross version as he tends to make him old looking, which seems odd, and wrong to me. The modeling is great, but he looks a bit like a wrestler in a Superman costume, maybe a bit like the Wayne Boring Superman. If it were me, and it's a minor quibble, I'd shorten the cape from between where it ends now, and the top line of the boot. It's right at the ankle now, and that seems a little long to me.Keep up the good work.
I actually disagree Labrada...this looks like classic supes to me, and the fact that his anatomy is completely shredded and flexed is actually appealing. It reminds me of a more classic, Alex Ross style of superman. Also a bit of the supes in Frank Miller's Dark Knight, which is a little older and more mature. Best 3d Superman I've ever seen!
I see what you mean now? I just have to go back into the comic book world it's been so long. I'll be definetly looking for these comics, but have seen some pics online and i totally agree, never knew that superman had so many looks. I was hesitant because the last supes comic I read was Emperor Joker. So you can see I have a bit of Comic Rust. Thanks for clarifying Don.
Looks Good Man, I will definetly be keeping my eye on this piece. Everything is good as far as I can tell, just needs a bit more muscle and some abs.The cape just doesn't fit into this character, I don't know why but itjust doesn't seem right, just my opinion though. Will you texture him too?
