Artist's Comments

I've got the process in .PSD format over at my website if you are interested: www.crayonboxofdoom.blogspot.com :)

Been awhile, seems like I write that on just about every post here. I've actually got a few paintings I've been sitting on, this was of course one of those. They are the paintings I like parts of but can't seem to make them something I'm truly proud of; not a big deal but a little frustrating. Anyhow, I shouldn't let it hold me back from progress or posting.

Oh man I love the feel on this, very wide and outdoorsy but has a nice calm to it. Like a scene you'd stumble upon while hiking and got turned the wrong way and saw this. Amazing work sir!

I kinda like the blur in this piece too.  It almost feels like perceptual distortion moments before passing out or something.  I think It adds another layer to the implied narrative.

Awww, appreciate it man. I don't think I will be updating at CA until they implement the multiuploader or something ... I don't know; just takes so damned long to post. I've always got the new stuff going on my two blogs though :)
