    Memod:  Thanks, i am not sure if i will be going another course at fxphd.  I know that at pesent they are re running the course i did last year. Which was the one where i go thru painting this image.

    The sheer scale of this and these subtle colours really get me. That's a picture that I would totally hang on my wall. I love when an image makes me feel small, and that definitely achieves this. The right side of the fortress maybe feels a little close to the centre line for me, but that aside, there's really nothing to critique. The whispy, soft clouds and the pure reflection give the piece a nice edge and definitely help to make everything 'pop'. Haha, this makes me want to paint right now!

    Been actually thinking about doing the fxphd course on matte painting for a while... I think when I'm done uni by the end of this year, I'll see if they have one going. Will you be lecturing courses for them again in the future?
