started this with a very tiny thumbnail -pen&paper used my cintiq and photoshop to render the greys I always liked this character-looked so odd in the game

      for this one I did-and yes I use that technique often-for the colour part of this I also played with MANY layer effects like screen and multiply and exclusion...and 3 or so more lol...was a real struggle

    that's one very dynamic image, I love how those swooshy lines add motion to it. I could imagine that he just kind of moved his hand or claw in order to beat at something. He certainly looks fierce enough for that :D
    But I really really love the values that you established, and how you kept his face the most refined, while his cloth looks rather rough. Really very well done!

      trailing off with the details? that was just me being lazy-lol kidding-I was/still am experimenting with focal points using level of detail saturation and all that jazz-so much to learn its awesome!
