    Hey thanks for the comment memod, I actually made a mistake and uploaded an earlier version of the painting , so I will edit this one now and replace it with the final version haha

    wow, this is so lovely. I really enjoy this kind of stuff, the town is a nice fantasy construct, but has that medieval flair to it, which I really like. And bridges are always win!
    the background castle reminds me a little of mont st. michel. stock photos of that would certainly help you with the matte painting :D You definitely must upload that here, when you are done, I'd love to see it.

    The one thing I think you could play up a tad more, is teh sunset lighting. The very rooftops could be hit by a nice golden light, to really push the mood of the scene. And I'd say, don't add too many windows, like on the bottom right. That building side looks a little unconvincing. But that is nitpicks, I am sure with a matte you will be more careful there.
