Two armor concepts for Czech videogame UFO2 Extraterrestrials: Shadows Over Earth ([link])
- game based on Microprose's legend from 90's. I created six different
suits, from heavy and hulky armor up to light and hi-tech. Each armor
is developed against different attack form - some against bullets,
another against fire, acid or freeze bolts. I can publish only this two
armors, after some time the remainings.
I wanted to create
these concepts by the classical way, black line for outlines and
details, and color areas for texture. Thats the reason why the concepts
are looking a little bit oldschool, but it is on purpose. I had to
respect some rules (jetpac on back for each armor) and ability of
engine - this reason causes the little oldschool feeling and look, but
I like detailed concepts like that.
