This piece started at Revelations, the Conceptart.org workshop...it was an amazing scene....all the big guns of the concept art world, among them Andrew Jones and Jason Chan challenging each other in what they called Thunderdome....massive screens with real time digital painting happening, in a massive room filled with 500 artistic freaks, and 50 artistic freak instructors!! So I humbly painted along on my laptop what I thought the Dream Devourer was, the description that the room voted on... and this is the image I started, and am happy to finally show it to you guys;)

    Great interpretation, I have had an idea of a dream eater also but I just couldn't nail the visual on paper.

    I love how the elements of the dream devourer have encompassed the room, but I would have liked to see more of the child's room. It looks more like the child is captured in the dream world having his/her dreams devoured rather than the creature being in the child's room.

    Great composition, lighting, detail, and your use of color is amazing, very inspirational.

    Looks damn cool :), I'm usualy not into this mechenical art but this reall cought my eye. Great piece, nice theme, dynamics, design and strong colors
