Artist's Comments
This is an illustration done for a book cover (with the same name),
thus bear in mind the global composition is quite off - that is because
the image will be cropped and then split in two, so I had to make a
subject for both the right part and the center part.
Technique wise, most of the terrain is painted, as well as some of the buildings, ships and many of the light details.
I used refs for the sky and some buildings and Greeble Plugin for parts of Ideo Sector (left).
