Another piece for ArtOrder. The concept behind the Flaming Coward was that the creature must have an aggressive attack mode, but when harried will make a last ditch attack and retreat cowardly. So, the Flaming Coward is semi buoyant due to the super hot chemicals inside it's body, allowing it to strike it's prey quickly. If it loses the upper hand though it will vent the hot chemicals within (magma?) causing adjacent objects and enemies to suffer painful burns. While its foes are dealing with stopping out the flames, the Flaming Coward will make a hasty retreat.
