16x24 oil on board.  Cover for Night Shade Books.  I wanted to push a little on this and get some more activity going, since most of the work I was doing right then were single figure compositions.  The magical flowers at the bottom were a fun challenge, I wanted to have a graphic punch to them.  Ended up looking at alot of Mucha while I was working on this.

    Nice Dave! This is one of my favorites of yours, the look is way less "referenced" if that makes any sense, and I think the colors are packing a punch!

    Heh, and that character looks an awful lot like Boris...
