On the approach: Started this one with a blob approach. Made a couple of black shapes over the canvas and played with the silhouette, lowered the opacity, and worked more on the inside details, lower opacity and applied some color, and just kept painting on top of it and merging the layers. This could be more polished, but it is important to keep the same level of "finish" or render on all elements to make it work, so as i reached this point i called it done.
