Artist's Comments

This is my final design of the White Rabbit for Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland".
I will post a scarier, more out-of-this-world concept of the White Rabbit I did at the very beginning of the project later on.
While I designed most of the characters on the show from scratch, this concept is based on a drawing by the very talented Bobby Chiu http://imaginism.deviantart.com/

    You get this sort of realistic feeling in the painting.. hazy look to it, aswell as with the pose. And my god.. the EYES the eyes, deary me. You're such a big inspiration :-), you've got no idea! Keep it up, and best wishing for 2011 from Holland.

    Great work. Funny coincidence btw - back in 2003 i drew a rabbit in a similar outfit... that was photoshop 7! and mouse! those were the times.
