Artist's Comments

This image was inspired by feelings that I have had after 9.11 about how the media and politicians are pushing fear to improve ratings and help remove our personal rights. My thoughts were crystalized later in Crichton's book of the same title. Global warming, Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, El Nino, the ozone layer, kidney thieves, etc. To a certain degree, some of these things MAY be based in truth, but they are sold as over-hyped fact to ignorant people who refuse to form their own educated opinions. God is in their TV.

I hope you like the image and at the very least it makes you think the next time you hear a newscaster say "horrific", "catastrophe" or "devastating."
