Artist's Comments
Based on a particular area of the Mariscal Canyon, this is an illustration of the crater area found in an upcoming graphic novel still in the conceptual stages. There is a great mountain and at the base of it lies this crater, which is home to a lake, in the middle of which is an island that is home to many mysterious flora and fauna as well as a massive sacred and spiritual flower.
