Plus head of rider -- he's got doll hair, which I think worked out pretty awesomely with a shockingly small amount of headache.  I'm definitely trying that again in the future.

    Hey Tully, what kind of clay did you use for this? And do you have any progress shots (of the armature or lay in?) It would be awesome to see those too :)

      This one is Super Sculpey Firm.  I often use a mix of regular and firm, but for this one, since it required so many hard edges -- for example the straps -- and tiny details, I used pure firm.  The only thing you have to keep in mind with it is to make sure you're not using too old a pack because it can become unworkably hard quite easily.
