Yesterday I had a little spare time and had the chance to stumble about Ariana :devWinged-Creations:, who had just commented on my page, and her deviantID instantly inspired me to do a painting. Thats why I love dA!
This is based on her portrait:
I know other artists have done this kind of thing like Benita Winckler and Boris Vallejo, yadda yadda... its just my take on this theme, but my main intention was to get more painterly with the new Photoshop and a personal work is the best thing to experiment with the new brush engine from CS5.
All done in Photoshop CS5, around 5 hrs.
