Web Tools Developer

The person in this role will be working under the direction of the Online Studio Manager, designing and implementing web applications for managing online processes and flows for all the titles developed in the studio.

Daily responsibilities:
    Design web applications, from the DB up to layout and interface.
    Evaluate and improving exiting applications and tools.
    Ensure applications and tools meet the requirements.
    Implementation, testing, maintenance and documentation of the applications developed.
    Research on new APIs and SDKs web, mainly from social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, …)

Required Skills:
    Expert in PHP and OO programming.
    Expert in MySQL and relational DB design.
    Decent Javascript skills, good AJAX knowledge.
    Understanding of REST architecture and frameworks.
    Interest and ability to adapt to new APIs, libraries and even language, depending on necessity.
    Ability to work with little to no supervision.
    Ability to handle multiple projects at once.
    University Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills:
    Experience of MVC frameworks.
    Experience of Unix/Linux systems.
    Experience of Apache (administration, configuration)
    Python experience will be highly valued.
    Experience of JSON and XML
    cURL
    jQuery
    xDebug
    Experience of PHP Unit Testing systems.
    Experience using the Facebook API, JS and PHP SDKs, as well as Graph features
    lua scripting
    HTML5/CSS3
    Good communication skills
